HAPPY NEW YEAR ...

after having a few weeks break we are ready and refreshed to start working on our Winter 12 collection. It was exciting finishing the year with our brand new Enjoy 12 Collection ready to launch. Hope by now you have had a chance to check it out ENJOY12

Thought we'd start the year off with looking at some of the celebrity fashion, turquoise is still so hot - it teams up so well with all the block colours that are so in this summer.

It also looks great with black or white. So versitile and definitely a must in your wardrobe.

2012 LAUNCH & 2011 CHRISTMAS PARTY

WOW ... what a great night. 65+ filled Avanti Restaurant for our 2012 Enjoy12 Launch and Christmas party.

We started the night with a glass of bubbles on arrival ... there was a formal invitation by Chanel which started the night with the Miss Enjoy Collection paraded by Chanel's 3 girls.

The girls then handed out all the Christmas Presents for the guests ... (a bit of an Oprah moment- wink)

The food kept coming out all night, delicious calamari, sweedish meatballs, spicy wings, spring rolls, prawns and dipping sauce ... just to start with.

There was a slide show this year, giving everyone a look at the Enjoy range, and also matching the jewellery being paraded with the model on the red carpet. Angie, Leanne, Ange, Shome and Sheridan showed the new Enjoy12 necklaces being launched for 2012 (they do not go on sale until 1st Jan 2012)

After the parade, was

the new addition of the Workshop. Recently Enjoy Jewellery has been giving fashion ideas - matching jewellery with outfits ... this year was a live version of these ideas. It started with casual ideas, and 3 different

changes of accessories to show how it changes the outfit up. Finishing with dressy options - once again 3 options for each outfit.

There was a lolly bar, and Christmas Crackers for everyone to enjoy.

A fabulous night with wonderful guests and lots of fun all around.

Lush-ious Christmas Market ... NZ

I am sitting at the airport ready to board a plane home to Brisbane. I have just spent the past two days in Auckland (my hometown) sharing the Enjoy Jewellery love with my NZ friends and family. I always love coming here and especially with Enjoy Jewellery. One of my best friends who i have known since i was 5 organises an amazing Christmas Market each year, this is the 2nd time she's done it, and i couldn't bear to miss it. This year was bigger and better than last ... she had 19 Retailers selling their wares, from cheese, to outdoor homewares, to cupcakes, to cards ... to name a few. Everyone got a pink goodie bag ... which doubled as great storage for all the things they purchased. I loved meeting all the new faces (there were many new ones this year ... we had double the numbers more than 220+) and seeing all the friends i met last year. Another great event.

BBQ Ideas ...

Now that we are all enjoying summer, i thought a few BBQ outing fashion ideas might be necessary. Who doesn't love a bbq with friends and/or family. Its easy to help a plain dress along with some bright accessories.

I encourage you to look at what jewellery you have in your wardrobe and see what colours you can pull out of a bracelet or necklace to give a twist - like in the third idea. We used the turquoise stone in the necklace, and teamed in back with a turquoise bracelet and earrings for a different spin (rather than wearing the matching bracelet and earrings)

You an also experiment this season with changing the shoe and/or bag colour ... in the bottom example you could use turquoise shoes, white or we chose the coral this time. So fun, make each outfit look a little different.

Black Dress Ideas ....

Everyone has a black dress in their wardrobe, and i thought it would be fun to show you how to easily add some summer colour to the black dress you already have. Brighten things up and feel in the summer spirit. There are only 3 ideas here, but you can use your imagination, green, turquoise, pink, orange to start you
thinking .....

its really fun once you start playing.

You can adapt dressy or casual ... there are no rules.

Graduation Ideas ...

Its that time of the year, the Grade 12's are almost finished ... the Grade 7's and getting ready to transition into high school

... and even so

me Grade 4's are getting ready for middle school and a change of school also.

Thought we'd give a few graduation gift ideas this week ... its nice to have something special to carry forward in your life when you go through different milestones. Our family experienced it this year with our eldest going to High School. Her highschool has a buddy system where the Grade 12's are "big sisters" to the Grade 8's for

the year. They are to mentor them and help them adjust to the changes. Its a great idea and has helped alot i feel. So Katherine is getting this bra
